We will probably keep doing foolish things. But perhaps that’s what
many people are longing for.

Acting by the self-subjectivity means to go beyond the frameworks. I
think we can say that a function of “go beyond the framework” is
included by a priori in art. In other words, “capture the moment when
art becomes non-art”.

かつて芸術は社会の本質を構成するものでした。芸術が専門化される過程において、その本質が単にイメージとして捉えられ、社会における砂糖菓子のようなものとして認識されているにもかかわらず、依然として（政治のように全体感を作り出すものではなく）主体感を結集させること、主体感の非力化を食い止める唯一の方法論として芸術は存在しています。

Art is the ability to construct the nature of our societies. Today, in
the process of forcing art as one a specialized category, the
nature of art is being understood as simple images to be discussed.
Although art is being acknowledged and treated like a confection of
the society, it has the ability to collect self-subjectivities
(not a totalism like a government).

今日になってやっと年賀状ができました。
今年は　南方熊楠　十二支考　『猴に関する民俗と伝説』　の一部を引用して作った。
どうも猿は毒とかそういうものに関係しているようだ。
毒を見分けたり、毒をもって毒を制したり、柳田国男や折口信夫によると、
馬なんかも絡んできて、良い水に暮らす河童が現れたということらしい。

今年は特に鼻をきかせて、良いものこと、悪いものことを見分ける必要がある、そんな焦臭い申年だ。
猿は一度いやな思いをしたら二度と同じ事はしない。日本及び日本人はどうなんだろう？
